Who is Joe, and why should you care or pay attention to what he has to say? Good question! Joe believes in the Constitution, which says that even the most heinous in our society is entitled to competent legal representation, protection under the Bill of Rights, and fair play and justice. Joe believes that the average American citizen has been and is losing his basic rights and freedom; and does not even know it; or if he does, he doesn’t care; or if he cares, he feels helpless to make things better. He believes that government is slowly, but surely, taking away our rights.
Joe was born and named Joseph Edward Abodeely in Tucson, Arizona on July 14, 1943. He grew up in the growing little University town nestled in a valley surrounded by beautiful mountains, desert, cacti (including the majestic saguaro) only an hour and a half drive from the Mexican border. Joe liked hiking, picnicking, plinking, and partying in the desert where he acquired a deep appreciation of the beauty of the Arizonan desert. He still likes to do those same things, today. Joe played football and wrestled in high school and college, and he graduated as a Distinguished Military Graduate from the University of Arizona in 1965. America’s formal involvement in Vietnam was just beginning. Lieutenant Abodeely served in Vietnam during the Tet Offensive 1968 with the 1st Air Cavalry Division. (See Joes MILITARY BIOGRAPHY).
After his service in Vietnam, Joe finished law school and obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Arizona School of Law in 1971. He began working for the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office that same year. Also, of great significance, Joe met Donna whom he married on July 26, 1975. . Joe and Donna live with their 15 cats. Donna AKA Saint Donna and Joe are still happily married today which he believes to be a great accomplishment especially in this day and age and considering Joe’s personality. Joe is tolerant of all races, creeds, and colors of mankind; he believes in equal rights for everyone irrespective of race, religion, or gender; but he is a bigot about one group of people--he can not tolerate stupid people.
Joe enjoys the practice of law because it is an intellectual profession most of the time, and he can be a champion for people who often would have no one else to be their voice or to champion their cause. Joe has seen the practice of criminal law become politicized and members of the public unknowingly lose many rights in the belief they were getting more security. (See Joes LEGAL BIOGRAPHY).
Joe
has been involved in politics, but he thinks the entire political system is
corrupt. He has been a radio talk show host, and he presently does a television
show on public access television where he interviews controversial types. Joe
admits that he, himself, is controversial. Joe’s likes to deal with
controversial subjects such the Middle East, the U.S.—Israeli alliance that has
caused the rest of the world to have ill-will toward America, terrorism, police
or prosecutorial misconduct, the military, government incompetence or
corruption, media deception, civil rights violations, and violations of
international law and human rights.
Joe’s mission is to impart some knowledge and wisdom--based on his knowledge, education, training, and experience--to whomever is interested in learning and benefiting and trying to make the local community, the state, the country, and the world better places in which to live.
Joe has experience, knowledge, brains, and gonads--that is why you should care and pay attention to what Joe thinks and says.
